UTAH FLOOD SLIDER #1: Little Cottonwood Creek
The dramatic difference of this slider is due to a hydro-electric plant located a 100 yards upstream from where this was shot. The plant was taking most of the water from Little Cottonwood Creek otherwise it would be running much stronger in the ‘before’ shot. The ‘after’ shot is just shy of being at flood stage; roughly 800cfs.

UTAH FLOOD SLIDER #2: Little Cottonwood Creek
The ‘after’ shot is just shy of being at flood stage; roughly 800 cfs. Later that night it peaked at well over 900cfs and the water was probably level to the bridge. Unfortunately there are no lights nearby to shoot around 1 A.M. when it peaked.

UTAH FLOOD SLIDER #3: Little Cottonwood Creek
I’m not exactly sure how the huge rock disappeared on the right side of the log. My guess is that the rock was actually below the log but it doesn’t look like it since I am well above the stream shooting down at it.
